Antique French Model 1874 Gras Rifle Bayonet Sword 1878 St. Etienne

Description

Antique French M1874 Rifle Bayonet measuring 25-1/2" long overall with a blade length of 20-1/2".  Press stud ejector works!, The quillon/cross-guard in on backwards with rivets its seems., and the grips have been replaced with twine/rope. The blade is the best thing on this, only showing some age patina, wear, with a scattered pitting on the left side of blade about 6" from point.  See photos for further details, clarification, and condition.  Good for parts or restoration.
