Darling Tailored Beige 1960s AVIAN Back Slit Half Slip - Sz M - USA Union Label

Darling 1960s back slit beige half slip in soft silky nylon!  Such a pretty little slip with a 15" back slit topped off by a lovely ribbon with 3 yellow roses.  This is a simple slip with a personality all its own.  The elastic at the waistline is in excellent condition.
This is a beautifully made item as you would expect from a fine maker like Avian in the 1960s when made in the U.S.A. was a guarantee of quality.
Measurements are 22-32" at the waist, up to 42" at the hip, and the length is 29" from the waist.  There is lots of give to this fabric and all measurements were taken outside the garment at full extension but without stretch.  The label says, "Avian - Medium - 100% Nylon Antron III - Exclusive of Decoration" on the front and "Made in U.S.A." on the back with a Union Label and minimal washing instructions.
