Description
This print is from a rare British children's book, probably from the 1930s. It shows three boxer puppies getting into trouble. One has knocked over a milk botle (back in the days when milk was delivered!), and is lapping it up. One is brindle, one is fawn and one is black and white. There is a caption beneath the illustration that reads: "Willie upset the milk and quickly started to lap it up whilst the others watched." It is by the very famous British artist A. E. Kennedy.PLEASE NOTE:
The page has stains in the margin area, but the picture portion is fine. The original has bright, rich colors. The page has text on the back, but it is not visible through paper.
The page measures approx. 7.75x10.75 inches, and the actual image area is about 6.5x8 inches. The page is in excellent condition for its age, though it does have a slight warm tone from age.
This is GENUINE antique/vintage item. It is not a modern reproduction.
I can combine multiple in purchases in one package. Just ask!
