    Description

    In good used condition a French Lebel Modele 1909 Black Leather Sling, pre Great War manufactured, measures approximately 90.6 cm long by approximately 3.5 cm wide. The buckle was either made of brass or iron which was painted enamel black or called “jappaned. The buckle is a sliding type and is not tapered at the end, is dog eared that covers brass security knob/button, research taken from the Gunboards Forum.
