Up for sale is a very nicely made French WWI period trench dagger or knife.
Made from captured German S1898 Mauser bayonet.
As a scabbard the forward part of German S1898 Ersatz all metal scabbard is used.
The blade is also a heavily modified German S1898 shortened blade.
Overall it is a very nice dagger and very high quality made
.
Condition is very good with little oxidation.
Only the mouth of the scabbard is coming out of the scabbard's body from time to time.
A very nice knife that will be a welcome addition to any trench knife collection.
