Original Pre WW1 WWI M1874 French Army Infantry Blue Shako W/ Original Wood Case.  French blue shako with Infantry insignia on front.  Lion chain hooks on side and back.  Has red pom with navy stripe as shown.  No markings inside cap.  Comes with original wood case.  Only mark on case is Brevete on underside which was basically for patent.  Hat in nice shape, minor flaws as shown.  Metal rim has some separation on one side when pulled as shown.  This style shako was used 1874 up until WW1.  Not sure of exact age.  Box in over all nice shape, but is thin wood.  Some cracking as separation as shown.  See photos.
