Original pre-WWI Era Belguim Model 1868 Sawback Bayonet for the Model 1868 Terssen Rifle - Dated 1882 - Very Nice Condition - RARE
Up for sale is an Original pre-WWI Era Belgium Model 1868 Sawback Bayonet.  The blade is bright, some minor discoloration.  The blade has no evidence of sharpening.  No nicks or chips in the blade.  The bayonet has a sawback design. The blade is dated 1882.  The locking mechanism is functional.  The guard is marked V 3299.  There are Belgium proof marks on the pommel.  The handles is made of heavy brass.  The measurements are as follows, approximately: blade length 19 1/4", width 1 3/8", thickness 1/4" and muzzle ring 5/8" diameter.  The bayonet is used, please see photos for condition.
