Adorable cotton blend eyelet lace trimmed vintage 1960s half slip from the iconic lingerie maker Barbizon! This is a knock-out of a slip that you will love for years to come.  The elastic is in good condition.  The fabric is soft and airy...just right for under a sheer summer dress.  The focal point of the slip is the exciting 1.5" trim of eyelet lace deeply scalloped into the body of the slip and richly cured at the terminus of the hem.  This is an exceptional slip that will be your go-to under your sheer skirts or dresses.
This is a beautifully made item as you would expect from a fine maker like Barbizon when made in the U.S.A. was a guarantee of quality and craftsmanship.
Measurements are 24-34"
at the waist, up to 40" at the hip, and the length is 21" from the waist.  There is very little give to this fabric.  All measurements were taken outside the garment at full extension but without stretch (waist was taken both ways).  The main stamped label says, "Barbizon - Petti-Lark - 13" but the back of the label is faint and too difficult to read.  There are no washing instructions visible but this can be machine washed on gentle cycle in cold water and hung to dry as with all fine lingerie.
