    Description

    For sale 1 Remington Model 1914 Bayonet for 8mm Lebel No. 5 Rolling Block Rifle.
    Remington produced 100,000 No. 5 rolling blocks for France in 8mm Lebel for home guard use.
    While no marks on bayonet indicate French, blood groove has "REMINGTON ARMS - UNION METALLIC CTG. CO. REM. WORKS. ILION. NY. U.S.A." indicating a post merger mfg. (post 1910).
    Overall length: 20.5". Blade length: 16". Inside lug channel has assembly number "33". Wood grips with 1 panel marked "B8".
    CONDITION: Blade has gray appearance w/ spots of heavy patina. Metal has gray brown appearance w/ patina. Grip panels intact with good finish & light handling marks.
