Very effective when used sensibly. It will chop onion, lettuces, tomatoes, squash and lots more. But it's a hand operated plastic machine so no, it won't chop a bunch of stew meat, ice or a whole potato. And yes, you have to quarter the onions, potatoes and squash, etc. to get them into the machine. If the crank resists at first, just apply pressure in reverse for a second and let the stuff rearrange itself before turning. Quick clean up, dishwasher safe (except for the lid)
I am from Indian family and of the food and everything is really detailed with everything cut properly second tired of cutting so I got this Prada 11years back when I got married and So far after that I bought three of those but this time I accidentally broke my salsa maker and I was so devastated that I got this I’m so happy do you said try it it will make your cooking to the next level very sharp be careful with the blades it can Hurt you
I have had one of these for years. It's great for chopping dicing that I use in cooking. The photo is of green tomato salsa that had onions peppers green tomatoes and some other stuff that turned out great. I also choped peppers onions to dehydrate. This one doesn't have the third blade that my other one has but it did an awesome job. Easy to use and compact for storage.
