Presented for your consideration is this vintage 1949 Chevrolet Styleline Convertible PROMO MODEL. This is not a bank as it features the “Chevrolet” plate on the bottom. Made by National Products/Banthrico in 1/25 scale (8" x 3"). This is a VERY low production oddity as this 1949 Chevrolet National Products Convertible has the "Type 2" windshield assembly (which was in use on all the 1950 Chevrolet Banthrico Convertibles).This model was produced in a very late 1949 manufacturing run and National Products had to modify the master mold to accept this style of windshield assembly. There is no original box included with this car however I found an image of the original box just to show you in the last photo. Condition as shown with the often missing steering wheel. Nice hubs and tires. The windshield is missing half of it. Probably THE most difficult to find Chevrolet National Products Banthrico promo model. DON'T miss out!
