Victorian White Cotton Eyelet Embroidery Whitework Petticoat Skirt
This antique Victorian era white cotton eyelet embroidery whitework petticoat skirt dates from 1900. It is made of a white cotton fabric with whitework broderie anglaise eyelet embroidery cutwork designs along the bottom half. This pretty petticoat skirt has been altered with an added adjustable Velcro closure on the back and has a layered bottom scalloped ruffle hem. The petticoat measures 36 inches long, with an adjustable 26-30 inch waist and 56 inch hips. It is in good as-is condition, with two tiny frayed rips on the back closure and on the bottom scalloped hem (see close-ups). This is truly a wonderful piece of antique Victoriana underpinnings wearable art!
