Description
Sweet and sexy. This vintage 1950’s lady’s light dressing gown or negligee is by Phil-Maid. It is cut from a true pink (not salmon as it appears in some of my photos). Tag says “run proof” acetate. Gown is long and very silky. It has a v neck and a hint of a cap sleeve. The gown’s bodice is defined by ruffled, pintucks from the shoulder to the empire waist. There is a line of elastic in the back at the waist so it clings just right. A decorative self tie ornaments the bust. The tag says medium, but sizes have changed so please see the measurements.Condition:This is a lovely and unique peignoir piece, but it has two small pin holes below the bust, one on the back by the neck, and one on the front about 13” from the hem. Because of the location of the holes, they aren’t very noticeable when it is on, but they are there. Zigzag stitching above the elastic is uneven, but it is part of the original construction. The gown is otherwise in excellent condition. Please see photos, gown is priced accordingly.
I currently have three 1950s Peignoir gowns for auction. They are each lovely, but damaged and priced accordingly. Make me an offer. I would be happy to combine the shipping and send them all to a loving home.

If you have questions or would like more photos, please ask. I am happy to combine shipping and and open to reasonable offers. Please watch my listings as I will be listing new items daily.
***There is no return on my items unless I have grossly misrepresented the item. A little snag here or a loose thread there is not a reason for a return. I also cannot be held responsible if you get the item and dislike the fit or color. If you are looking for new items, please search for clothing under "vintage style" and you will get a new item. Most people love the look and feel of vintage because of it's charm.
