The bayonet is in good serviceable condition. Grip is made of metal and has a couple dings and scratches.
There are light nicks with pitting on the blade, also some rust. Some of the finish has come off
. Blade has a very slight bend to it. We left it alone. It comes to a point and the point is fairly sharp.
Scabbard is in good shape with no damage to it. There is some minor rust and pitting but nothing too bad. Some of the finish has come off. There is some paint of some discoloration to the scabbard. Please see our photographs for a better understanding of the contents and its condition.
