Offered today is this Early WW1 western front trench pickup French Adrian helmet, with the anchored badge of France’s Colonial troops. Rather soberingly, there is a very clear bullet entrance hole in this helmet, but no exit hole. Helmet is in overall good and stable condition, with no loss or major rusting. It is definitely a stark monument to the French Empire’s losses on the battlefields of that war.
